The Sahel Stories Beach Towel is our love letter to Egypt's North Coast, a journey illustrated onto fabric, celebrating the places, memories, and little traditions that shaped generations of summers.

It begins in the old school Sahel, where cassette tapes played from well-loved stereos, a red flag meant the waves were too strong, and a round of tawla was all you needed for a day that stretched from sunrise to sunset. Names like Sidi Krir bring back a slower time, when beach snacks were affordable, afternoons were carefree, and the best memories were the wonderfully messy ones.

As the design unfolds, so does the coastline. We arrive at Marina, where jet skis skim the water, ice cream melts a little too quickly, and every summer seems to have its own soundtrack. Finally, the journey ends at Marassi, a reflection of today's North Coast, with beach speakers, volleyball games, rackets, contemporary umbrellas, and the songs that define a new generation of summers.

Every illustration is a snapshot of a different era, inviting you to trace your own memories along the shore. Whether you grew up with cassette tapes or Bluetooth speakers, this towel is a reminder that while Sahel has changed, the feeling of summer never has.
