KairoKnots Story

Our Roots
Kairo Knots is a **legacy of craft**, carried through generations. It all began with our grandfather—a trailblazer in his time—known across Qalyubia for selling the best sewing machines in the business. Our father followed in his footsteps, becoming a pioneer in designing, importing, and exporting world-class embroidery machines. Our mother built and ran her own textile factory from the ground up.
Now, as sisters, we’re continuing the story—carrying that legacy forward through Kairo Knots.
What We Make
Rooted in the bold rhythm of Cairo and the stillness of the sea, we design **bed linens and cushions** that blend texture, tradition, and care. Our pieces are crafted slowly and intentionally in our own factory, using locally sourced linen and **100% Egyptian cotton**. We produce in small, thoughtful quantities—to reduce waste and honor the time it takes to do things well. Each piece is made to feel—and feel good about.
Who We Work With
We work side by side with **generations of craftspeople**—many of whom have been with our family for decades. Our team includes single mothers and caregivers who support children, aging parents, or loved ones with disabilities. Because **care starts with who makes it**.
What We Believe
We believe in thoughtful, personal craftsmanship. In uplifting other Egyptian brands. In keeping our **environmental footprint as light as possible**—through local sourcing, mindful production, and limited runs. And in making pieces that bring quiet, grounding joy to everyday life.
Our Philosophy
We’re drawn to **sensory richness**—materials that invite touch, comfort, and calm. This is **softness with soul**. Made for homes full of life, and in love with rest.
