Let's be honest: we didn't just stumble into this—it’s in our blood.
Our story starts with our grandfather's sewing machine shop in Qalyubia. The legacy was passed to our parents—a father who pioneered embroidery design and a mother who built her own factory.
Now, it's landed with us, two sisters with a vision. Kairo Knots is the revival of that factory, a tribute to the craft that shaped us, and our chance to spin generations of know-how into something modern, soulful, and a little bit funky.

Our story is a tale of two Egypts, and we are equally in love with both. We were shaped by the vibrant pulse of Cairo and the soulful calm of the sea.

Our inspiration comes from this beautiful contrast:
